Shangri-La Paris

In the former home of Prince Roland Bonaparte, overlooking the Eiffel Tower and River Seine, ultimate Parisian elegance lives on in the French capital. After being lovingly restored to its former grandeur, No.10 avenue d’Iéna’s “Palais” was reborn as Shangri-La Paris in December 2010. Centrally located in the 16th arrondissement, few minutes from the Champs-Elysées, the hotel blends European grandeur with traditional Asian hospitality.

Restaurents

Shang Palace

Europe’s first Shang Palace restaurant opened in Paris in 2011. In 2012, it became the only Chinese restaurant in France to be awarded a Michelin star.

Inspired by Southeast China’s culinary traditions, the restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine by Chef Samuel Lee. The venue includes a main dining room and two private dining rooms; Tang can host until 12 guests and Qing Ming has a capacity of 24 guests maximum.

La Bauhinia

Inspired by the flower of the same name, La Bauhinia recalls the Asian origins of the Shangri-La group and offers a unique atmosphere in the heart of our palace. Above the restaurant, the extraordinary glass « dome », designed by the famous architect Maurice Gras, bathes the restaurant in light.

The Executive Chef Christophe Moret and the Pastry Chef Maxence Barbot have prepared a seasonal menu inspired by the regions of France, all in delicacy and lightness.

To celebrate the arrival of summer, La Bauhinia takes up residence on the terrace bordering the superb French-style garden of the Shangri-La, Paris. Located in the heart of the historic building, the former home of Prince Roland Bonaparte, this true haven of peace welcomes its guests away from prying eyes and the tumult of Paris for a timeless experience.

Chi, The Spa

Chi, The Spa at Shangri-La draws inspiration from the legendary Shangri-La – a place of personal peace, enchantment and well-being.

Located in what were originally the stables of Prince Roland Bonaparte’s hôtel particulier, Chi, The Spa includes fitness facilities, a pool with outdoor terrace and a beauty treatment centre.

The 17 x 6m swimming pool is bathed in natural daylight thanks to enormous glass windows, as is the fitness room.

Two spacious and elegant treatment rooms offer a selection of facial and body treatments from The Organic Pharmacy brand.
State-of-the-art fitness equipment includes cycling machines and treadmills, an elliptical trainer, a stepper, and Vario cardio-training and multi-functional exercise machines.
