Château de la Chèvre d’Or has 2 Executive Suites named after artists who have visited Eze and La Chèvre d’Or.
Opened in 2009, the Cocteau Suite, pays tribute to this prolific artist who left his mark on this place during his summer stays.
You can also stay in the Balokovic Suite, named after the Yugoslav violinist, Zlatko Balokovic, who, during a visit to the village, followed a goat with golden hair to a building he later restored and which became the famous Château de la Chèvre d’Or.
Over the years many artists have come to soak up the light and the beauty of this place and one of these special suites bear the name of an artist who were intimately linked to Eze and its region:
The Barlow Suite (in homage to the American composer who was very productive in the ’30s and ’40s and who often stayed in Eze Village for nearly 30 years).
The Suite du Cap received its name from its magnificent view of the Bay of St. Jean Cap Ferrat.

The Nietzsche Suite is a beautiful piece of paradise. A unique suite with private terrace and pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Nietzsche was a frequent visitor, hiking through all the paths between Eze Bord de Mer and the medieval village. It actually during one of his hikes that he was inspired to write «Thus spoke zarathustra ».

Restaurents
Arnaud Faye began his career in 1999. He worked in a succession of three Michelin starred restaurants, such as Arnsbourg in Baarenthal, Antoine Westermann’s Buerehiesel and Bernard Loiseau’s Relais.
In 2007, at only 29 years of age, Arnaud Faye was appointed Head Chef at l’Espadon, in that famous Parisian palace « The Ritz ». Two years later, the restaurant received its second Michelin star. In early 2011, Arnaud Faye joined the newly opened Mandarin Oriental in Paris. Less than a year after opening, the Mandarin Oriental, Paris obtained 2 Michelin stars.
During the year of 2012 he took on a new challenge: to oversee the kitchens of the Auberge du Jeu de Paume Hotel, a member of the Relais & Châteaux association and the property of His Highness the Prince Aga Khan, in the heart of the Domaine de Chantilly. The hotel’s gourmet restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in March 2013 and the second came the following year. They were maintained in 2015 and 2016.
In the summer of 2016, Arnaud Faye joined the Château de la Chèvre d’Or to oversee the management of the hotel’s kitchens, and in particular that of « La Chèvre d’Or », its 2 Michelin starred gourmet restaurant.
